For many amputees, the journey is not only about adapting to life after limb loss, but also overcoming stigma, limited access to care, and the high cost of prosthetic devices.

Belinda Adhiambo, Operations Manager at Prothea Kenya, knows this journey firsthand. After losing her leg at the age of three and growing up in Kibera, she faced discrimination and societal barriers that many amputees continue to experience today.

Now, through her leadership and advocacy, Belinda is using her voice to push for affordable prosthetic care and greater inclusion for persons with disabilities
