Thank you so much to everyone who helped make "The Worst Year of My Life" the most beautiful show I've ever done. How I would have loved to actually just sit there in the audience with you and take it all in.
Thank you District Six Homecoming Center for hosting us at your iconic venue.
I'm always driven to do more, do different, be conceptual, give you something new... but none of it would come to be without the incredible team I have around me. I was lucky to work with and share the stage with the most amazing musicians for this show, who worked hard and made a lot of sacrfices. Im very grateful.
And then to Brukman Consulting for taking on this show with me, and supporting my crazy ideas with 100% support and encouragement.
And lastly, this show would not have happened if it hadn't been for South African Music Performance Rights Association Development Fund. This is the 2nd time SAMPRA has come through for me in a BIG way.
I wasn't even aware of SAMPRA up until a couple years ago, and missed out on so many opportunities. I'd implore all musicians to inform themselves about SAMPRA and needletime rights - there was money waiting for me for three years that I did not even know about. And the staff at SAMPRA were more than ready and willing to help. There is also funding available for touring, recording and performing from the SAMPRA Development Fund. Check out the link below.
