That white coating on your tongue? 👅 It may be more than you think.

Your tongue has a textured surface where bacteria, food debris and dead cells can accumulate, contributing to bad breath and changes in the appearance of your tongue.

Brushing your teeth is essential, but your tongue deserves attention too.

Gently clean it as part of your daily oral hygiene routine, and don't ignore a coating that persists, changes or causes discomfort. It may be worth having it checked by a dental professional.

A healthy smile starts with a healthy mouth, and that means looking beyond your teeth. 🦷

Waking up with a sore jaw or frequent headaches? It could be more than just a bad night’s sleep.

Teeth grinding and excessive clenching can contribute to tooth wear, jaw tension, facial soreness and discomfort over time.

Recognising these signs early can help prevent further damage and keep your oral health on track.

If you’re experiencing these symptoms, the team at Platinum Dental can assess your concerns and guide you towards suitable treatment options.

A dental cleaning is about more than a brighter-looking smile. 🦷✨

Professional cleaning helps remove plaque and hardened tartar that regular brushing and flossing may not fully eliminate.

Keeping these deposits under control is an important part of maintaining healthy teeth and gums and preventing gum problems.

This before-and-after shows the difference a professional clean can make.

Ready to give your teeth and gums some extra care? Book your dental cleaning with Platinum Dental.

Ever wondered why your teeth are shaped so differently?

Your incisors are designed to cut and bite into food.
Your canines are pointed to help tear food.
Your premolars and molars have broader surfaces for crushing and grinding.

Each tooth has a purpose — and they work together every time you eat, speak and smile.

Looking after your teeth means looking after the whole team.

At Platinum Dental, we offer gentle, comprehensive paediatric care, including full mouth examinations, preventative dentistry, treatment of decayed teeth, space maintenance and orthodontic treatment.
