At first glance, these before and after photos look almost the same. That’s exactly the point.

Our patient came to Dr Raymund Weihmann at JJS Dentistry Durbanville wanting to replace her older porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM) crowns. PFM crowns have a metal core underneath the porcelain, which blocks light from passing through the tooth. Natural teeth let light in and reflect it back, which is what gives a healthy smile its depth and life.
