Gingivitis is the early stage of gum disease caused by plaque buildup along the gumline. It leads to red, swollen, and bleeding gums — but it’s reversible with good oral hygiene and professional cleanings.

🦷 Reminder: Visit your dental hygienist every 6 months for a professional cleaning to keep your gums and smile healthy!

At Advanced Dental we have a full time Dental Hygienist

The use of mouthwash should only be done under the guidance of your dental professional.
Overuse of antibacterial rinses can cause staining of the teeth and also disrupt the natural, healthy balance of bacteria in your mouth.

These before-and-after photos show the effects on a young patient who unknowingly used an antibacterial mouth rinse for longer than recommended.
Removal of the stains was done by our oral hygienist in one appointment

Smile Makeover ✨
This young lady is absolutely thrilled with her new smile!

Her transformation was achieved with professional teeth whitening and two custom veneers placed on her undersized lateral incisors. The results speak for themselves—natural, bright, and beautifully balanced.

We love helping our patients feel confident and proud of their smiles. 💛

Did you know that drinking water with lemon can harm your teeth?
While it may seem healthy, the high acidity in lemon can erode the enamel—the protective outer layer of your teeth. Over time, this erosion can increase your risk of tooth sensitivity and cavities.
