When the glazing becomes an architectural feature in its own right.

For this home on the St Francis Links, the Jacaranda Curtain Wall system from H Systems’ Custodian Collection was used to create this impressive double volume glazed façade.

Spanning two levels, the system brings an incredible amount of natural light into the home while creating a strong visual connection between the interior and the surrounding landscape.

Behind those clean lines is a system designed to perform. The Jacaranda is an A6 AAAMSA tested curtain wall system, with a range of mullions available to accommodate different structural requirements, as well as integrated drainage, movement and weather sealing considerations.

Curtain wall systems are often associated with large commercial buildings, but this project is a great example of what they can bring to residential architecture when the design calls for glazing on this scale.

There’s something about internal glazing that can completely change the feel of a space.

At the doctors’ rooms at Bay Eye Hospital, our internal glass and aluminium installations help create separation between reception, consultation and working areas without closing the space in.

The black aluminium frames add a strong architectural detail, while the glazing allows light to travel through the interiors and keeps the rooms feeling open and connected.

A great example of how glass and aluminium can become part of the interior design, not just a functional requirement.

Have you spotted our red and white protective tape on site? 👀

It’s not just there to make sure you know it’s us 😉 although we certainly don’t mind the free advertising!

The tape protects the aluminium joinery after installation from scratches, dust and the general chaos that comes with an active construction site, keeping it covered until the project is nearing completion.

And then comes the satisfying part… ripping it all off. 😌

Fresh, clean aluminium underneath and another installation ready to show off and perform.

Looking back at Anfani Guesthouse in Humerail, Gqeberha.

Completed a few years ago, this is one of those projects we still enjoy looking back on.

Algoa Joinery manufactured, supplied and installed the engineered aluminium sections incorporated into the boundary wall, as well as the wide span stacker doors opening the entertainment spaces onto the pool deck.

The dark powder coated aluminium became a strong part of the overall architecture, from the rhythm of the street facing boundary to the large openings connecting the indoor and outdoor spaces.

A few years on, it’s great to see how well these elements still sit within the design.
Good aluminium should look just as good years later as it did on installation.

From installation to finished space 👌

A look at the H-Systems Shopfront installed at the new GIB Insurance Brokers offices, during construction and now as part of the completed interior.

The black aluminium framing and glazed panels create the office divisions while still allowing light through and keeping the spaces feeling connected.

Always good to see the finished result and how our aluminium work becomes part of the bigger picture.

Another Pezula project complete. 🙌🏼

This striking home called for aluminium systems that could complement the architecture while making the most of the surrounding views.

Algoa Joinery supplied and installed a combination of 38 Casement Windows, Heavy Duty Sliding Doors and H Systems Shopfronts, creating large openings throughout the home and a strong connection between the interior and outdoor spaces.

Clean lines, expansive glazing and aluminium detailing that fits seamlessly into the overall design.

This St Francis Canals home recently underwent a series of additions and alterations, with Algoa Joinery supplying and installing a combination of H-Systems Shopfront, Heavy Duty Sliding Doors and Casement 38 Windows throughout the project.

The mix of systems allowed for large glazed openings that maximise natural light, open the home up to the canal-side setting and create a seamless flow between the indoor and outdoor spaces.

From the feature gable glazing to the sliding doors opening onto the pool, every installation was manufactured and fitted to suit the design and the way the home will be lived in.

It's always rewarding seeing the final result and how the right glazing systems can completely change the feel of a home.

Algoa Joinery is looking for a highly organised and dependable Store & Fleet Controller to manage our warehouse, company assets, small plant, fleet and stock distribution.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀
• Manage the company warehouse and ensure it remains organised and secure.
• Control all incoming and outgoing stock.
• Issue materials to the factory and installation teams.
• Maintain accurate stock records and conduct regular stock counts.
• Manage and track all company assets, tools and small plant.
• Keep accurate records of asset movements and allocations.
• Coordinate servicing, licensing and maintenance schedules for the company fleet.
• Monitor fuel usage and vehicle inspections.
• Ensure stock levels are maintained and report any shortages.
• Work closely with the Procurement, Factory and Contracts teams to ensure projects run efficiently.

𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗺 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in warehouse, stores, logistics or fleet management.
• Experience in the construction, glass and aluminium, or manufacturing industry will be advantageous.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and stock control systems.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Honest, reliable and able to work independently.
