Most extractions of teeth can be avoided by visiting your dentist as soon as you feel a cavity in your teeth.
Stage 1 , 2 and 3, the dentist can still restore the tooth with a restoration “filling” which most medical aids covers and treatment cost are relative cheap to restore.
Stage 4 normally requires Root canal treatment or extractions.
To avoid stage 4, visit our practice as soon as you feel a cavity “hole” on your teeth.

Objectives of Tooth brushing
1) To clean teeth including in the spaces between them.
2) Although it may be difficult to reach the inter proximal spaces with a toothbrush, floss or inter dental brushes can be used.
3) To prevent plaque formation.
4) To disturb and remove plaque.
5) To stimulate and massage gingival tissue.
6) To clean the tongue.
