We have two pediatric dentists working at the Kids Smile Zone.. 🙌🙌

🧚Dr Tay Akbar will be available during the week. She has her postgrad qualification in paediatric dentistry. She has an amazing approach to handling children with such gentleness and patience. Her passion lies in treating children. 🦷
She is a firm believer that prevention is better than cure and goes out of her way to ensure the children are at ease during their appointments.

🧚Dr Azraa Khan will be available on Saturdays, with her very calm demeanour and wealth of knowledge when it comes to everything kiddies dental related. She also has her post grad qualification in paediatric dentistry. 🙌🦷🤩

Kids Smile Zone has a new team member 🌟💫

🙌🌟🥳Dr Azraa Khan 🙌🌟🥳

Dr Khan is a paediatric dentist. She has graduated as a dentist from the university of Pretoria and has her post graduate training and certification in paediatric dentistry, also from UP.

She has such a compassionate, kind and gentle nature, and kids feel at ease and comfy in her presence. 🤩🌟

She brings along her vast expertise in everything kiddies dental related. 🙌👌

She will be available on most Saturdays 🦷🪥

🦷 It’s important to start brushing your child’s teeth from the time the first milk tooth cuts through the gum.

🦷 Try to reduce/prevent sugar intake. Sources are sweets, chocolates, fizzy drinks, juices, cakes and ice cream.

🌈When cavities become more extensive, they can become painful and in some instances affect eating.

🌈It is advisable to monitor children’s brushing frequently, especially in the younger age group.
