Oral cancer awareness!

If you think that when you come in for a check-up we're just looking for cavities, you are wrong.
When you go for your regular dental check-up, we also screen you for any signs of oral cancer. Oral cancer develops in the lips, tongue, inner cheeks, gums, floor of the mouth (under the tongue), throat and sinuses.
Symptoms include: mouth pain, lip or mouth sores that don't heal, difficulty swallowing, lumps in the mouth, loose teeth, oral thrush and loss of feeling in the mouth.
Alcohol and to***co use may increase your chances of oral cancer.
