✨️Crown replacement: Gold to zirconia🙌✨️

A replacement crown can make a subtle but meaningful difference to the overall appearance of a smile.

In this case, the existing gold crown was removed and replaced with a provisional crown before the final zirconia crown was placed. Working closely with the laboratory, we were able to achieve a shade and appearance that blended naturally with the surrounding teeth.

The result? A more natural-looking smile and, most importantly, a very happy patient!👌🦷😄

🧪 How does whitening actually work?

Professional whitening uses peroxide-based agents (hydrogen or carbamide peroxide).
These release oxygen molecules that:
👉penetrate the enamel
break down stain particles inside the tooth
👉 This is called bleaching, and it’s the only way to truly lighten the natural tooth colour.

❌ Why over-the-counter products often disappoint

Many store-bought products:
👉contain very low concentrations of active ingredients
👉don’t stay on the teeth long enough to be effective
👉use one-size-fits-all trays or strips → uneven results

Some can even:
👉increase sensitivity
👉irritate your gums
👉give patchy or short-lived results

🦷🪥Here are some simple steps on how to brush your teeth more efficiently 😄👇

• Use a soft-bristled toothbrush🪥
• Add a pea-sized amount of toothpaste 🫛(more isn’t always better 😉)
• Angle your brush slightly towards the gums🪥👄
• Use gentle little circles — no harsh scrubbing 😅
• Don’t forget the front, back,and chewing surfaces of each tooth‼️
• Give your tongue a gentle brush too👅
• Brush for a full 2 minutes⏲️
• Spit out the toothpaste, but try not to rinse straight away💧
• Brush 2x day morning and night for the best results ✨😁
• And don’t forget to floss — your toothbrush can’t reach everywhere! 🧵🤭
