As a male practice owner, husband, son, brother, friend, and member of our community, I believe it is important to speak up and stand alongside the women who continue to be affected by gender-based violence.

Women deserve to feel safe. Women deserve respect. Women deserve equality, dignity, and the freedom to live without fear or abuse. 🛡️

GBV is not something that should be ignored or accepted as “just the way things are.” It affects individuals, families, communities, and our society as a whole.

At Next Step Orthotics & Prosthetics, we work with people from all walks of life, and our practice will always strive to be a place built on respect, dignity, compassion, and care.

Today, we stand in support of the movement against GBV and in solidarity with those calling for a safer South Africa and safer World.

Let's continue to speak up, challenge discrimination, support survivors, educate ourselves, and create a culture where violence is never normalised.
