A challenging Class II malocclusion successfully managed with clear aligner therapy and class 2 elastis.

A case requiring careful biomechanics, precise staging and excellent patient compliance — demonstrating that even complex malocclusions can be approached with clear aligner therapy when treatment is thoughtfully planned.

A crossbite isn't just a cosmetic concern, it can affect your bite, tooth wear, and long-term oral health.

Using clear aligners, we corrected this upper arch crossbite, creating a broader, more harmonious arch and a healthier bite, all without traditional braces.

We then used IMV to perfect the final details with beautifully natural results. These injection-moulded composite veneers were completed while preserving the patient's natural teeth, with no unnecessary removal of healthy enamel.

One question that often comes up is: "Why is the dental midline not centred?"

The answer is that a midline discrepancy is not always created by orthodontics.
It can result from:
• Previous tooth wear or fractures
• Missing or undersized teeth
• Existing restorations that alter tooth width
• Asymmetrical tooth anatomy
• Skeletal and facial asymmetries
• The patient's original occlusion and growth pattern

In this case, the final midline reflects the patient's underlying anatomy and restorative situation. Orthodontic treatment aims to achieve the best balance of function, aesthetics, periodontal health, and occlusal stability, not simply to force every midline to coincide.

Important note: The existing restorative treatment shown in this case was not completed by me.
My role was limited to the orthodontic management.
Every smile has its own roadmap, and successful treatment is about respecting biology while delivering the best possible outcome.
