Chrome Cobalt partial denture set-ups, main emphasis on "altered cast technique" done on the free end saddles of the mandibular (lower) models. Always wise to be equipped with knowledge💯.

We never stop learning, each case is different and requires knowledge and experience to meet the demands of each dentist.

1.SOLDERING lower(clasps), such a nightmare to reclean the chrome cobalt frames after soldering and expenditure on leowire , solder and flux.

2. ALTERED CAST, on the free end saddles of mandibles, I still don't know the reason behind this technique, only thing I experience is time consumption and expenditure on plaster.

It's efforts like this that make me appreciate my daily hustle as a dental technician apart from the money aspect of it and creative art of teeth. Some patients are such a blessing and am thankful to still come across such people in this day and age. They really make life a lot easier and make you feel appreciated in your graft. This means alot and gives me a drive to do more.

Remember✔: Use your round bur to make the socket (where the tooth is extracted) deeper and slightly wider (walls) on the model before starting with an immediate loading case.
If not done the tissue (gum) can resorb so much during the healing process that the pontic hangs, leaving space underneath resulting in food traps.
Food traps will result in the failure of the prosthesis and having to redo it especially if it is permanently cemented. If it is temporarily cemented the dentist can always safely remove it and you can be lucky to add pink porcelain to the prosthesis but the results are not as excellent.
Rather be safe than sorry, make the pontic root long enough, if it does not fit precisely💯 into the socket the dentist can always adjust it on the bench side during the fitting process.

It is always wise to use some pink porcelain in cases where there has been excessive resorption of the tissue (gum) to achieve good aesthetics, eliminate food traps and long crowns (teeth) in the mouth.
NB: Make sure to have an idea of the shade of the existing tissue (gum) in the patient's mouth before you add it, otherwise can end up a disaster if the shades are different.

Chrome cobalt frames on steroids🔥👌, maximum time to fit 2 minutes👏
WHY AND HOW?
As dental technicians we normally have different techniques of saving time and materials but following step by step procedures is worth it in most of the cases.
If you want to make sure you do not have to get work back in your laboratory, either to fix or redo, duplicate your working models so you are 💯 percent sure of a perfect fit, unless the impressions were not good from the very beginning 😜.

🙆🙉When you qualify as a dental technologist expect to be a magician too, although you don't get a qualification for being a magician, you will definitely practice as one and believe me you will be a perfectionist with your practice. You must have certain priorities such as magnifying🔎👓 eyes 👀👀 to find exactly where the margins are and you better be good at it because the clients want perfection irrespective of the quality of the impressions supplied. GOOD LUCK😂, that all you need😯!
