This case is one we are incredibly proud of and for good reason. 🙌
When this patient first came to see Dr Gray, the picture was complex. Severe dental crowding, bite issues, and Class 2 malocclusion, where the upper jaw sits too far forward relative to the lower, affecting both the bite and the profile.
For many patients presenting like this, the traditional answer would have been extractions to create space. We took a different route. 🦷💪
Using a combination of a palatal expander to develop the arch and create the space the teeth needed, followed by full fixed braces to align everything precisely, we corrected the crowding, closed the bite, and brought the bite from a Class 2 all the way to a beautiful, stable Class 1.
No extractions. No shortcuts. Just 22 months of careful, planned treatment and a patient who trusted the process every step of the way. 😁✨
