Today is his birthday, and we could not let it pass without taking a moment to celebrate the man who built Silver Oaks from the ground up. A dentist trained on London's Harley Street, a visionary, a mentor to his team, and most importantly, someone who has genuinely changed the lives of thousands of patients across South Africa and beyond.

Patients fly in from across the world to sit in his chair. They leave with new smiles, renewed confidence, and stories they can't wait to tell. That does not happen by accident. It happens because of his passion, his patience, and his unwavering commitment to getting it right every single time.

If you've ever left Silver Oaks with your teeth feeling brand new, chances are Maggy had something to do with it.

Maggy is a Registered Dental Hygienist who graduated from the University of the Western Cape with a degree in Oral Hygiene, and she has been part of the Silver Oaks family for well over a decade.

Ask any of her patients and they'll tell you the same thing, and that is that Maggy has a warmth about her that puts you at ease the moment you sit down. Her gentle and compassionate chair-side manner is something her patients genuinely love, and it's one of the reasons so many of them keep coming back.

Her role goes far beyond a routine clean. She is your first line of defense against gum disease and tooth loss and in her hands, you're always in very good care. 🤍

Meet Dr Craig Inch, Precision, Passion, and a Lot of Heart 🤍

Dr Inch grew up in Cape Town and completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery cm laude at the University of Stellenbosch, so when we say he's good at what he does, there's proof to back it up.

His clinical interests span every branch of operative dentistry, with a particular focus on prosthodontics, orthodontics, and endodontics. Whether it's a complex root canal or a full smile restoration, Dr Inch approaches every case with the same commitment: solid, predictable, long-lasting results.

Patients consistently describe him as calm, kind, and thorough, exactly who you want in your corner when you're nervous about a procedure and looking for the best results.

When he's not in the chair, you'll find him out on the tennis court, hiking, fishing, or doing conservation work as a longstanding SANParks Honorary Ranger in the Southern Kruger region. Certainly a man of many talents!
