• MONDAY MOTIVATION •

Regular dental checkups and cleaning are essential to gum health.

This patient underwent a scale and polish treatment, SWIPE LEFT TO SEE THE TRANSFORMATION!

What is a scale and polish?
This treatment is done in 2 steps,
Step 1 is whereby the plaque and tartar build up is scraped of the teeth.
Step 2 is when your hygienist or dentist will polish the teeth to smoothen out the surface. This process helps to reduce stains but also leaves the teeth bright and shiny. The polishing can also smooth away minor imperfections and patches of rough textures on the teeth to further prevent plaque build up!

Diastema is a gap between your teeth, and generally occurs between your two front teeth.
Marcel advised the client to proceed with dental bonding to close this gap.

Dental bonding is a procedure where the dentist applies a tooth- colored composite resin to one or more of your teeth to repair the damage.
This procedure is cost-effective in comparison to other cosmetic dental procedures, like veneers.
