Rebuilding a smile. Restoring function. Re-establishing balance.

This patient came to us with years of tooth wear from grinding, missing back teeth and a collapsed bite. The changes had affected not only the appearance of her smile, but also her ability to smile comfortably and the overall balance and function of the bite.

A full-mouth rehabilitation was carefully planned using digital diagnostic technology to analyse and accurately articulate the bite before treatment began.

🦷 The missing back teeth were replaced with porcelain bridges, restoring posterior support and helping re-establish a more stable bite.

🦷 The worn front teeth were restored with porcelain crowns, using minimal preparation where appropriate. We carefully corrected the shape, proportions, colour and length of the teeth while maintaining a natural appearance — creating a smile that looks like her, rather than an artificial “perfect” smile.

So, what is a bridge?
A dental bridge replaces one or more missing teeth by using neighbouring teeth as support, creating a fixed restoration that fills the gap and restores chewing function and appearance.

And what is a crown?
A crown is a custom-made restoration that covers and protects a tooth, restoring its shape, strength, function and aesthetics. In this case, the front teeth were carefully redesigned to restore the tooth proportions that had been lost through years of wear.

We removed the existing crowns and designed a new set of high-translucency porcelain crowns, carefully correcting the shape, size, proportions, colour and overall harmony of the smile.
