🌍 We recently had the pleasure of hosting a wonderful exchange student from Germany at Kromboom Dental Centre.

He spent two weeks shadowing our team during his internship in Cape Town, and we were honoured that he chose our practice as one of only two clinics to learn from during his trip.

During his time with us, he had the opportunity to observe a wide range of treatments and procedures — including surgical extractions, treatment under conscious sedation and general anaesthesia, advanced root canal treatments, a variety of tooth restorations, 3D imaging with CBCT, paediatric dentistry, and much more.

It’s always inspiring to connect with young clinicians from around the world who are passionate about dentistry and eager to learn. We hope your time with us gave you valuable insight into practice life here in South Africa.

What an incredible journey across South Africa with the Lynne Bluff Baby Shows! 🤍

Dr Farah Seedat from Kromboom Dental Centre recently had the privilege of presenting at four Childbirth Educators Professional Forum (CBEPF) events hosted by Lynne Bluff’s Baby Talk, connecting with passionate perinatal professionals in Cape Town, PE, Durban and Johannesburg.

Teaching and professional education are passions of Dr Seedat, and across the series, Dr Seedat shared insights on the developmental impact of non-nutritive sucking — exploring how early oral habits influence facial growth, airway development, breathing, swallowing patterns, and long-term health. The sessions also highlighted why dummy design and early guidance matter more than many realise, and how small everyday decisions in infancy can shape lifelong outcomes.

This opportunity was made possible through the generous support of ✨ It is truly a privilege — and a little surreal — to collaborate with a brand that is so closely aligned with evidence-based care and early childhood development.
