Double row of teeth? 🦷🦷 Yes it’s not normal.

Hi 👋🏾 Parents/ Guardians.

We see this almost every week. It’s called retained primary teeth - or “ shark 🦈 teeth.”

The baby teeth stay too long, so the permanent teeth erupt behind them. That little gap between the two rows traps food and causes decay very quickly — like the early spots you can see here.

If the double row has been there for more than 2-3 weeks and the baby tooth is not SUPER loose/wobbly, don’t wait for it to fall on its own. Come in for a check and X-ray (we are very good with babies 🤏🏾). Removal is quick and usually helps the permanent tooth move into place naturally.

If your baby 👶🏾 is going through this wiggle check: if it’s firm and not moving at all, it’s time for a visit.

The patient above lost his two front teeth when he was 7yrs due to trauma and he’s now 15yrs. Parents were really desperate to get him the dental help because of the bullying he was getting. The ideal treatment was quite pricey for them to afford so they went with this one above. We made the teeth align using braces and made composite veneers for the small remaining front teeth.

The bullying went down and he smiles better. We are so proud of this case. We witness this patients’ confidence gets resuscitated 🥹🥺. He’s in a better place mentally 🙏🏿. The entire treatment took 10months.

We really hope your kids are not the reason other kids hate going to school. The bullying happening at schools is really scary 😓.

When the teeth decide to misbehave 😅. This👆🏽 happens a lot to kids (ages 7-9) and parents usually think it’s going to fix itself. No it wont fix itself and as the child grows the ‘fixing’ price also grows when they are younger the process is quicker and quite affordable. Please come consult if there’s something in your child’s mouth that you don’t understand.

The case above the patient is 9. She didn’t like her smile and the bullies at school gave her a third time. She’s our fourth similar case the past three years. We just attached 6teeth with brackets and lowest strength wire and she was fine in four weeks and she removed them in 6weeks. We saved her parents so much money.

Braces aren’t as expensive as most people think. Now there are payment options. Please come consult and get the quote. This particular case took us 30months to finish. It was quite a demanding one but at the end the patient was happy.

*They aren’t only for kids.
*Yes they can take up to four years depending on how difficult the case is.

Sometimes life happens (sicknesses, car accidents, substance abuse etc) and teeth get lost 😞 and we are so sorry for that. Fortunately you don’t have to walk around without teeth☺️.
