This event is for families in Catoosa County who will be sending students to school in August!

What to expect:
💜 Interact with local agencies, partners, churches, and non-profits… build your village!
✏️ free school supplies and a backpack
🩺 free student health screenings
💇‍♀️ free student hair cuts
☀ free activities for students and families, like the touch-a-truck experience
🥫 Chattanooga Food Bank food distribution, for those who qualify

📚🎒 BACK TO SCHOOL BASH UPDATE 🎒📚

Tomorrow we will be ONE MONTH away from our Annual Back to School Bash on July 16, 2026, and we wanted to share where we currently stand with school supply donations!

So far, we have collected:

🎒 288 book bags
✏️ 96 pencil sharpeners
✂️ 50 scissors
🖍️ 44 glue sticks
🧽 350 erasers
📓 59 spiral notebooks
📁 10 one-inch binders
📑 12 dividers
📄 10 packs of notebook paper
✏️ 10 pencil pouches
🖍️ 24 highlighters
✏️ 40 pencils
🎨 4 packs of colored pencils
🖍️ 9 packs of crayons
🗂️ 8 packs of index cards

Our goal is to provide school supplies for 400 students this year, and we still have a long way to go on many needed items.

Every donation, big or small, helps ensure local students start the school year with the supplies they need to be successful. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far and helped make this event possible!

The Dade County Schools Summer Feeding Program and the Cherokee Regional Library System are helping keep kids fueled for summer fun!

📚 Kids ages 0–18 can receive a FREE sack lunch at the library during the month of June.
