A LETTER TO OUR VALUED PATIENTS
AN IMPORTANT NOTE BEFORE CHOOSING DENTAL TREATMENT
Dear Valued Patients,
Thank you for considering dental treatment in Vietnam.
Vietnam is home to many highly skilled dentists and reputable dental providers. We are proud to see a growing number of local patients, overseas Vietnamese and international patients choosing Vietnam for their dental care and treatment.
At the same time, we believe every patient should receive enough information to make a safe and appropriate decision for themselves, especially when considering treatments that may have long term implications, such as dental implants, full mouth rehabilitation, crowns, bridges, root canal treatment or oral surgery.
For this reason, we would like to share several important points for patients to consider.
With the aim of helping our patients verify the information they receive and make informed decisions that protect their oral health, long term wellbeing and financial interests.
DO NOT CHOOSE DENTAL CARE BASED ON PRICE ALONE
A lower price does not necessarily mean lower quality. Likewise, a higher price does not automatically guarantee better treatment.
However, two treatment plans that appear similar on a quotation may be very different in practice.
The differences may involve the treating dentist, materials used, diagnostic process, infection control, treatment records, warranty policies and responsibility for follow up care.
Before making a decision, patients should clearly understand:
+ Who will directly perform the treatment and whether the dentist has the appropriate professional qualifications and scope of practice.
+ The exact brand and type of dental implant, ceramic, zirconia, crown, abutment, bone graft material or other materials that will be used.
+ Whether the origin and manufacturer of the materials can be clearly identified and traced.
+ Whether relevant documentation will be provided, such as implant information, product labels, warranty information or appropriate traceability records.
+ Whether the treatment plan is based on a clinical examination, dental X rays, CT imaging and other necessary diagnostic information.
+ Whether the patient’s medical history, general health and potential risk factors have been properly assessed before treatment.
+ What sterilization and infection control procedures are followed.
+ How warranty, follow up and aftercare are managed.
+ Who will provide support if a problem occurs after the patient returns home or leaves Vietnam.
For international patients, these questions are particularly important because dental treatment may continue to affect oral health and overall wellbeing for many years after leaving Vietnam.
IF ANOTHER DENTAL PROVIDER OFFERS A SIGNIFICANTLY DIFFERENT PRICE
Patients should compare the two treatment plans carefully, item by item, rather than looking only at the final amount on the quotation.
A useful question to ask is:
Are these genuinely the same treatment plans, performed by dentists with comparable professional qualifications, using comparable materials from clearly identified sources, with similar diagnostic processes, documentation, quality control, warranty and aftercare?
Sometimes, the difference is not simply the price.
The difference may lie in what is actually included in the treatment.

- How will The East Rose Dental take responsibility for my care and treatment outcome?
- You are also welcome to use these same questions to evaluate and compare The East Rose Dental with any other dental provider in Vietnam.
We do not ask you to simply trust us.
We invite you to verify the information you receive.
The responsibility of dental professionals is not to persuade patients to choose them at any cost.
Our responsibility is to provide accurate information, clearly explain each patient’s oral condition, present appropriate treatment options and give patients enough information to make decisions that protect their health, long term treatment outcome and financial interests.
If another qualified and reputable dental provider is more suitable for you, we fully respect that choice.
What matters most is that you clearly understand who is treating you, what treatment you are receiving, what materials are being placed in your body, why the treatment has been recommended, what the possible long term implications may be and who will remain responsible for supporting you after treatment.
Dental care should not be chosen simply by comparing numbers on a quotation.
A treatment decision should consider professional qualifications, appropriate diagnosis, treatment quality, transparency, material traceability, professional responsibility and long term care.
