Read below about the steps we are taking to protect you!

Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA),
the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health
Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new
rulings or guidance that may be issued. We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are
current and adhere to each agencies’ recommendations.

You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help
protect our patients and staff. For example:

• Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. You’ll be
asked those same questions again when you are in the office.

• We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office. You will also find
some in the reception area and other places in the office for you to use as needed.

• You may see that our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys and so forth,
since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect.

• Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean
that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.

• We will allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well
as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.

steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice.

Coronavirus update: Our office closure will extend through April 6, 2020 in compliance with the Governor's stay at home order. We will keep you updated if the order is extended this week.

Our offices are available for patients with dental emergencies to prevent overcrowding of hospital emergency rooms. If you have a dental emergency please call our office and follow the phone prompts.

Coronavirus Update: Office closure effective Tuesday, March 17, 2020.
We are all watching with concern as a global health pandemic expands. The community spread of COVID-19 has prompted a very challenging and unprecedented situation for our entire community. While, as of yet, there are no known cases of infection of DeChellis and Stonestreet Dentistry patients or team members, we are committed to doing our part in the global public health effort to help slow the spread of the virus.
In response to Gov. Mike DeWine’s recommendations, our office will close effective today, Tuesday, March 17th and remain closed until Friday, March 20th. After which we will re-evaluate the circumstances and update everyone accordingly. NOTE: We are readily available to see patients on EMERGENCY BASIS ONLY during this closure. In this event, please call our office and follow the prompts to contact the doctor on call.
This decision was made with much deliberation and careful consideration to minimize risk from the coronavirus to all members of our community and the communities we work with.
We will continue to follow guidelines provided by our local, county and state health officials and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

At DeChellis & Stonestreet Dentistry, your health and safety are always at the top of our priority list. We’re closely monitoring the outbreak of the new coronavirus that causes COVID-19 and want you to have the latest updates.⁣

All team members are trained to always practice infection control policies to prevent cross-contamination of all infectious diseases. Rest assured that we are taking proactive measures to protect patients and will continue to ensure the safety of all patients who visit our office. ⁣

We will follow guidelines for dental practices as they are issued by the state government and health officials. Right now, we are continuing all appointments as scheduled. We ask that if you currently feel sick, please reschedule your dental appointment and call your physician. This is especially true if you have a fever, cough, sneezing, or shortness of breath.⁣

Please also reschedule your appointment if you have traveled outside the United States in the last two weeks to an area affected by the coronavirus disease. This includes China, Hong Kong, Iran, Italy, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, or Vietnam.⁣
