"Oh, I didn't realize that we get more time with you."

A patient's wife said that to Dr. Solt last week, and it stuck with him. Because that's really the thing he'd want everyone to know.

In his words: "We're really passionate about customizing and giving every patient as much time as they need."

More time means we actually get to know you. What you're worried about, what you're hoping for, what's going on in your life. It means questions get answered instead of rushed, and the plan we land on is one that fits you, not the clock.

Some patients bring questions to their appointment. Mario brought pizza.

Mario, who owns Greco's Pizza in Grand Rapids, stopped in before his visit today with slices for the whole team. Dr. Solt and a few others have officially declared it some of the best pizza they've ever had, and they'd like the record to show that's not just because it was free. 🍕

A shared meal where each guest brings a dish.
At Solt Family Dental: a finger food summit attended entirely by people who know exactly what's stuck in your teeth afterward.

The theme was finger food, and nobody came to play.

Jess brought homemade hummus, pinwheels, caprese skewers, and pickle wraps. Marisa showed up with buffalo dip and meatballs. Tessa covered dessert and then some: sweets, deviled eggs, and homemade crab rangoons (yes, homemade). Audrey rolled in with pigs in a blanket, homemade pretzels, and b**r cheese.

Official ruling: everybody wins. Unofficial ruling: there will be a lot of flossing this afternoon. 🦷🧀

For nine years, almost every time Dr. Solt recommended treatment, the next question was the same one: what does my insurance cover?

These days that question hardly comes up. Since we went insurance-independent, the conversation in the chair gets to be about you, your teeth, and what makes sense for you. No policy in the middle of it.

Dr. Solt and Amanda's baby girl, Genevieve Rose, was baptized on Sunday, September 6th.

A big day for the Solt family and a full church to celebrate her. Baby number four already has her siblings (and her dad) wrapped around her finger.
