Not in a million years would I have imagined receiving two Fellowships in one year.

To be recognized as both an AGD Fellow by the Academy of General Dentistry and an ICD Fellow by the International College of Dentists in the same year is something I still struggle to put into words.

Coming from a small village in East Africa, this journey once felt impossible. But life has a way of rewarding those who continue pursuing their Personal Legend — even when the path is uncertain, difficult, and filled with setbacks.

There were moments of doubt, sacrifice, long nights, and obstacles that could have easily made me quit. Yet deep inside, there was always a belief that I was meant for something greater through service, growth, and helping others transform their lives through dentistry.

These recognitions are not just awards to me. They represent perseverance, faith, lifelong learning, and the power of refusing to give up on your dreams.

I am deeply grateful to my mentors, patients, team, friends, and family who have all been part of this journey.
