Today, we had a really special moment in the office that we just had to share.

One of our patients came in and asked if she could personally recognize Anna, our Insurance Coordinator. After initially having her claim denied, Anna worked behind the scenes - communicating with the patient and the insurance company, navigating the appeals process, and ultimately getting the claim reprocessed and approved.

Because of her persistence and dedication, this patient received the coverage she deserved.

To show her appreciation, the patient brought in a handwritten thank-you card and made a point to recognize Anna in front of our team and Dr. Henry. It was such a meaningful reminder of the impact our team has every single day.

We are so proud of Anna and grateful for the hard work that often happens behind the scenes.

We had the BEST time celebrating our team at our Staff Appreciation Party!

One of the highlights of the party… putting our doctors in the hot seat 😆
We played “Which doctor is most likely to…”

Everyone had to line up behind the doctor they thought fit each category, and the results did NOT disappoint 😂

we sped up the video for social media… which means you’ll hear a very enthusiastic, slightly chipmunk-version of the narrating

Moments like these remind us how lucky we are to work alongside such an incredible (and fun!) team. We truly appreciate every single person who makes NWOFS what it is ❤️

We had such a fun and meaningful clinical team meeting today!

Candace planned a creative icebreaker where each of our assistants drew a self-portrait filled with things that represent them - their favorite hobbies, interests, and little pieces of what makes them them.

Each team member then shared their portrait and the story behind it, which gave us all a chance to learn more about one another in a fun and personal way.

To top it off, we voted for our favorite drawing… and congratulations to Mitchell for taking home the win (and a $50 gift card! 🎉)

We had an incredible time at the Chicago Dental Society this past week! Some of our team traveled to Chicago to learn from some of the best in dentistry and connect with colleagues from across the world. We were especially excited to be joined by Dr. Neeru Sharma from Hilliard Advanced Dentistry Neeru Sharma, DDS /Brice Dental Smiles - it was such a pleasure to spend some time with her, collaborate, and strengthen our professional connections.
Of course we enjoyed a little bit of everything Chicago has to offer along the way! 🙃

You’ll see photos of Dr. Henry, his son Evan (who is currently in school pursuing dentistry!), Erica, Candace, Fred and Dr. Sharma.

We’re giving a big birthday shout-out to Katie M., one of our amazing Surgical Assistants! Her birthday was this past Saturday, and we couldn’t let it go by without celebrating her.
