The American Dental Association released a statement Aug. 12 stating it "respectfully yet strongly disagrees" with the World Health Organization's interim guidance recommending that "routine" dental care be delayed in certain situations because of COVID-19.

Today’s the day! We are officially open for all procedures. If you’ve had an appointment postponed we will be calling to get you rescheduled, but please call if you haven’t heard from us.

Notable changes include an increase in personal protective equipment, a new enclosure around the front desk, and our new clean air system which uses hepa filters and exposes office air to uvc light to kill airborne pathogens.

To practice social distancing we ask you to call when you arrive for your appointment so we don’t have a crowded waiting room. Also please wear your mask inside. We’ll ask you to take it off when we es**rt you to the treatment room. Your temperature will be taken on arrival.

We remain closed through the end of May for routine dental care. I am still seeing emergencies usually on Monday. If you are having pain or discomfort call the office:

In our time off, We have been working on obtaining the necessary PPE, creating a partition around the front desk, and installing a new state of the art clean air system. Air from the dental operatories will pass through particulate, charcoal, and hepa filters, then be exposed to uvc light to keep the dental office air as pathogen free as possible!

We will remain closed to all but emergency patients until at least April 8th. The above link helps us to decide what is indeed an emergency.

In cooperation with the Illinois state dental society recommendations, I must cancel dental appointments for all non emergency procedures. The recommended dates for this closing are from Tuesday March 17th through Tuesday march 31st.
We will still be answering the phone to schedule appointments for April.
We will continue to see patients who are in pain or have dental infection. If you have an appointment for an extraction or root canal we will be calling to consolidate those appointments.
Please call the office with your questions or concerns. I appreciate all of you and your support. Together we can get through this!

Dear patients:

The dental office will remain open. We already practice all recommended universal precautions for sterilization and disinfection. We have increased disinfection of non-treatment areas (waiting room, bathroom,doorknobs, toys, etc.).
