🐠 Why are elastics so important?

Braces move your teeth individually, but elastics help guide how your top and bottom teeth fit together — kind of like teamwork in a school of fish. 🐟🐟

When elastics aren’t worn consistently, teeth can’t move the way they’re supposed to. That means:

🫧 Treatment can take longer
🫧 More appointments may be needed
🫧 Braces might stay on longer than planned

The good news? Wearing your elastics 22 hours a day keeps everything swimming smoothly and helps you reach your braces-off day faster! 🎉

Keep extra elastics in your backpack, bathroom, and by your bed so you never forget!
