Help Identify this Dog or its Owner

Early this morning (5/13), at approximately 5:20 a.m., Woodburn officers responded to an animal complaint after a German Shepherd dog was found abandoned and tethered to a rock and a parked vehicle in the 600 block of Willow Avenue, Woodburn.

Officers safely freed the dog and provided food and water, and it is currently at the WPD’s dog shelter. The dog will be transported to the Marion County Dog Shelter for further care.

We are asking the public for help in identifying the dog or its owner. If you have information or video surveillance footage from the area that could help investigators determine how the dog was left there, please contact WPD at 503-982-2345 and reference PD Case #26-5783.
