Dental Hygienist — Winterset Dental
Location: Winterset, Iowa
Type: Full-Time (Part-Time Considered)
Pay: $40+/hour, depending on experience

Winterset Dental is growing, and we want you to grow with us. We are a busy, privately owned general dentistry practice with two dedicated doctors and a tight-knit team that genuinely loves coming to work — partly because of the great patients, partly because of the modern, updated office, and yes, partly because of Shadow, our beloved office dog who greets everyone at the door.
We recently moved into a larger, fully updated space equipped with the latest technology, including Eaglesoft software, intraoral cameras, digital X-rays, and CBCT 3D imaging. This is not a practice stuck in the past. We do it all — same-day crowns, root canals, extractions, implants, fillings, and even Botox and fillers. When you join Winterset Dental, you join a full-service practice where your skills will be put to great use every single day.
What You Will Do
As our hygienist, you will play a central role in delivering the excellent patient care we are known for. Your day-to-day will include:
- Adult and child prophylaxis
- Periodontal maintenance procedures
- Scaling and root planing
- Patient education and oral health coaching
- Teeth whitening treatments
- Sealant application
Office Hours
Day & Hours
Monday 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Tuesday 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Wednesday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Thursday 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Friday 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

What We Are Looking For:
You are someone who takes pride in patient care, communicates with warmth, and brings energy to the chair every day. Specifically, you will need:
~ Active Iowa dental hygiene license
~ Local anesthesia license
~ Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
~ A genuine drive to deliver outstanding patient experiences
A Little Something Extra:
Our office dog, Shadow, takes her welcoming duties very seriously. She is a fixture of the Winterset Dental experience and a very good girl.
