Non-profit, FQHC, providing medical, dental, prenatal, behavioral health, gender-affirming care, and enrollment services regardless of coverage.

We are a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) located in beautiful Northern California and dedicated to providing exceptional, compassionate health care to each person, regardless of his or her ability to pay. Winters Healthcare is not a production-based facility; we are a small, nimble non-profit organization providing primary care via a team-based model that includes integrated behavioral health and dental services. We serve over 3,000 patients through direct primary medical, dental, perinatal services, and gender-affirming care. We are committed to serving all those in the community with the best possible care whether they have private insurance, public insurance or no insurance. We value relationships between providers, team-based staff, and patients to achieve better health. We value change and innovation and although are a small organization we are technologically savvy and operate integrated electronic medical records, e-prescriptions, e-laboratory ordering, and results and we provide meaningful data to providers, care staff, and patients on a regular basis.

On Friday, September 18, our medical, dental, outreach, and behavioral health teams visited Durst Organic Growers in Esparto for an employee health fair.

By bringing care to the workplace, we helped make preventive services more accessible to agricultural workers. The fair offered flu vaccinations, A1C testing, blood pressure checks, vision screenings, and dental services. Our dental team also completed 15 visual exams with fluoride applications.

Thank you to Durst Organic Growers for welcoming our team and making space for employees to focus on their health. 💚

FREE Mammograms are back this October, provided by UC Davis Health!

Mammograms help catch breast cancer early, and when it's found early, over 99% of patients survive.

Who's eligible?
Women ages 40–74 who: are uninsured or underinsured, have no symptoms, and haven't had a screening mammogram in the last 12 months.

Appointments required: call (916) 734 - 0655 (Mon–Fri, 8:30am–5pm) to schedule!

At Winters Healthcare, being an FQHC means our mission is simple: to make high-quality healthcare accessible to our community.

We welcome patients with many insurance plans, as well as those without insurance, and offer a Sliding Fee Discount Program for those who qualify. Our team is here to help you understand your coverage and care options.
