A first visit that isn't a sales pitch. 💙

It's the thing our patients mention more than anything else, so let's just say it plainly.

We'll tell you what needs doing. What can safely wait. And what doesn't need doing at all — that third category is real, and sometimes it's the whole appointment. If everything looks fine, we'll say everything looks fine and see you in six months.

If you're a new patient, this is where to start:

🦷 $99 — complete checkup + X-rays
🚨 $69 — emergency exam + X-ray

(New patients only, can't be combined with insurance.)

On the practical side: we're in-network with most PPOs — Delta Dental, Guardian, Humana, MetLife, Ameritas, Cigna, Aetna. We take CareCredit, offer no-interest terms on shorter repayment plans, and there's a discount if you'd rather pay upfront.

Four ways to whiten your teeth. Only one works in a single day. ✨

⚡ In-office whitening — a strong gel activated by light, done here in one appointment. Fastest, most dramatic.

🏠 Custom take-home trays — trays moulded to your teeth plus professional gel. Slower, more flexible, more affordable, and you set the pace.

🪥 Whitening toothpaste — polishing agents that lift surface stain. This is maintenance between treatments, not a treatment.

📿 Whitening strips — adhesive strips releasing gel gradually. Convenient, least controlled.

We don't sell two of those four, and if one of them is the right starting point for you, we'll say so. Not every patient needs the strongest option, and plenty of people get where they want to be on trays alone.

Whichever route you take, results last longer with the boring stuff: brush twice a day, floss, go easy on coffee, tea and red w**e, keep your checkups.

Being sold treatment you don't actually need is the most common fear people bring to a new dental practice. It is also a completely fair fear — the industry has earned it, and everyone knows someone with a story.

Our answer isn't clever. We tell you what needs doing, what can safely wait, and what doesn't need doing at all. Sometimes that third category is the entire appointment, and we'll say so out loud.

Transparent pricing. No decisions demanded on the spot. If a treatment plan needs a week of thinking about, take the week.

You do not have to give up coffee. We would never ask that of anyone in Winter Park. ☕

But it is staining your teeth while you drink it, so here are three changes that make almost all of the difference — none of which involve drinking less:

1️⃣ Rinse with water when you finish the cup
2️⃣ Wait 30 minutes before brushing
3️⃣ Drink it in one sitting, not over two hours

That second one surprises people every time. Coffee is acidic and temporarily softens your enamel. Brushing straight after means scrubbing at enamel while it's at its most vulnerable — so you're doing more damage than if you'd left it. Water first. Brush later.

The third one matters more than the other two combined. A cup finished in ten minutes gives your saliva time to neutralise everything afterwards. That same cup nursed across a whole morning keeps your teeth sitting in acid for hours.

Same rules apply to tea and red w**e, which we mention only because it's Winter Park and we know our audience. 💙
