Dear Patients and Friends,
For the past 11 years, it has been my absolute privilege to serve as your dentist at Moon FamilyDental Care. Today, I am writing with mixed emotions to let you know that I have accepted a commission as a dental officer in the United States Air Force.
My last day seeing patients at Moon Family Dental Care will be September 17, 2026. Since becoming an American citizen, I have felt a deep sense of gratitude toward this country and desire to give back through service. Accepting this commission allows me to continue practicing the profession I love while serving our nation in a new capacity. As I approached the age limit for commissioning, I knew the time was right to answer that calling.
I understand this news may come as a surprise. Given the many moving parts and uncertainties involved in selling a dental practice, I was unable to share my plans until the transition was officially complete.

Serving you and your families over the past 11 years has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Thank you for trusting me with your oral health and allowing me to be a part of your lives.
The friendships we have built and the confidence you have placed in me are gifts I will always cherish.
While saying goodbye is not easy, I take great comfort in knowing that you will be in excellent hands.
I am pleased to introduce Dr. Arassa Joseph, who has purchased the practice. Dr. Joseph earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit Mercy and has experience providing comprehensive dental care for patients of all ages. She is dedicated to compassionate, patient-centered dentistry and shares my commitment to patient comfort and clinical excellence.
I have complete confidence in Dr. Joseph, and I hope you will warmly welcome her and give her the opportunity to earn your trust and continue the tradition of exceptional care at Moon Family Dental Care.
If you are currently undergoing treatment, please rest assured that your care will continue seamlessly under Dr. Joseph's guidance. Your treatment plan will not be interrupted, and our team remains committed to providing you with the highest quality of care. Although I will be serving in a different setting, I will always be grateful for the opportunity to have cared for this wonderful community.
