COVID-19 OFFICE UPDATE
To Our Valued Patients:
This communication is to announce that our dental office is beginning a return to normal operations after our four week “sheltered” period. Our community has been going through a tough period over the course of the last six to eight weeks, and everyone is anticipating a return to some semblance of normalcy and routine. Our office is no different, but with this transitional return, we, like so many other businesses, will be making some changes in our daily routine to better ensure the safety and security of our patient family.
Infection-control, has been, and will always be the top priority of our practice to guarantee the safety and well-being of our patients. Our office has always adhered to the protocols and guidelines of the American Dental Society (ADA), U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). With the advent of Covid-19, however, these protocols have been expanded to comply with prevention of viral spread, and our dental practice has implemented changes to comply. To better prepare you for your next appointment, the procedural alterations are listed below:
· Our office will communicate with you and ask several screening questions prior to your appointment. These same questions will be asked upon your arrival for your appointment.
· Hand sanitizer will be available for use when you enter our office. Your personal facemask may be worn while in the reception areas. Temperatures will be measured and recorded.
· Social distancing will be observed by the seating arrangement in the reception area, discharge desks, and all other possible office areas. Barriers will separate reception staff from patients.
· Our waiting area will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys, etc. for hygiene reasons.
· Appointment times and durations will be extended to facilitate patient distancing as well as inner-office sanitation, which may require adjustments in scheduling options and times.
· Patients may be asked to wait in their cars, if needed to comply with distancing, and be called via text, phone, or personal es**rt when ready to be seated. To assist our staff with this you may wish to call or text us as you arrive to avoid crowding in reception areas.
· As part of our re-entry transition starting in May, our office hours will remain from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with one dental team of four working Monday and Wednesday, and the other on Tuesday and Thursday.
We are anxious to return to regular operations and look forward to seeing each of you again. The entire staff is ready to answer questions or concerns you may have regarding our “new look”, office safety, or dental procedures as they relate to you. Appointments may be made by calling 336-768-8850.
Best regards,
Dr. Yancey and Dr. Zackeru
