Nothing means more to us than hearing a patient say they felt truly cared for. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

At Windham Cosmetic Dentistry & Implant Center, we believe great dentistry is about more than just teeth — it’s about trust, comfort, communication, and creating an experience that feels personal from the moment you walk through the door.

To our amazing patients: thank you for your support, referrals, and kind words. We never take it for granted. 🤍

April Fools’ Day got me this year… and not in a funny way 😅

I cracked my own tooth.

No prank—just a reminder that teeth don’t always give you a warning before they fracture. Even as a dentist, I’m not immune. Small cracks can quietly grow over time until one day… snap.

That’s exactly why we often recommend crowns before a tooth breaks. A crown acts like a protective helmet, reinforcing the tooth and helping prevent a much bigger problem (and emergency) down the road.

Lesson learned the hard way: prevention > repair.

And yes… dentists are human too.

What happens when you lose the support of your back teeth? Fractured and worn down front teeth. In this case we placed multiple implant for support so that we could predictably restore her front teeth.

A missing canine and an undersized lateral incisor (the tooth next to the space) can create a difficult esthetic challenge.

In this case, we restored the area with a single implant for the missing canine and a veneer on the peg lateral to create symmetry and proper proportions.

One of the biggest challenges here was the natural variation in color among the surrounding teeth. Matching that while avoiding unnecessary treatment on otherwise healthy teeth requires careful planning and precise ex*****on.

Rather than treating multiple teeth to simplify the shade match, we chose the more conservative path—preserving natural tooth structure and limiting treatment only to what was necessary.

We’re always happiest when we can achieve a strong esthetic result while keeping dentistry as conservative and biologically respectful as possible.

Sometimes the easiest path is to remove everything and start over. In dentistry, that often means extracting the remaining teeth and replacing them with dentures or implant-supported dentures.

This patient had already received two separate consultations recommending exactly that.

But after a careful evaluation, we took a different approach.

By focusing on conservative treatment planning, we were able to save every remaining tooth and restore function and esthetics by placing three single implants to support the upper dentition rather than removing everything.

Preserving natural teeth whenever possible can make a huge difference in long-term function, comfort, and patient confidence.

Sometimes the best treatment isn’t the most aggressive one — it’s the one that respects what nature already gave us.

Baby on the way and big adventures ahead. 👶✨

This week we celebrated Dr. Miller with a baby shower as she prepares to welcome her first child. While we are so excited for her growing family, we will also be saying goodbye as she and her family relocate to begin this next chapter.

Dr. Miller has been a wonderful part of our team and has made a lasting impact on so many of our patients. We are grateful for the care, kindness, and dedication she brought to our practice.

Please join us in wishing her and her family all the best as they begin this exciting new journey. 💙

After many years of erosion (acidic environment) and wear, this patient was left with very thin teeth. This can make it very challenging as you’re limited by lost tooth structure and a finished space to work with. In this case we utilized a porcelain/metal combination to make this work.
