Replacing both central incisors is a very challenging esthetic situation. With proper planning and ex*****on along each phase of the treatment we can have a predictable, natural outcome. This case was done using immediate placement and loading protocols along with utilizing the MIS Connect abutment “one abutment/one time” approach. Total team effort to make this case happen!!

Sometimes the perfect positioning for a screw-retained restoration is not possible for a number of reasons. You can still have the option for screw-retained using an angle correction abutment as seen here with the EZ base abutment from MIS. Before and after with the definitive implant crown. Thank you to for the assist on this case when the patient moved to Florida.

The replacement of a single central incisor with a dental implant presents many challenges surgically and restoratively. For me, the use of the Connect Abutment from or “Stay-in abutment” concept has provided a distinct advantage in these types of cases. The stability of the bone and soft tissue has been very impressive with my cases. Trying hard to be consistent!!

Very challenging case in a patient with a high smile line and advanced bone and soft tissue loss on the canine, lateral incisor. Interdisciplinary treatment consisted of Orthodontic extrusion first by to aid in the hard and soft tissue grafting by Dr. Alex Schrott. Lastly, the prosthodontic phase of the treatment involved splinted screw-retained implants crowns with a small amount gingival ceramics. Overall the patient and I were very pleased with the outcome in an extremely difficult situation.

Merry Christmas from all of us at Russell Hill Dental. We had a great dinner to celebrate the end of another great year with the best staff around.
This was also the send off for our very own Dr. Peter Pantano who is retiring after 35 years taking care of our patients. It has been an honor to work together for the last 16 years and I could have not asked for a better partner!!
He will be missed dearly and wish him the best in his next phase working on his golf game.

Lateral views of my previous case post showing the tissue sculpting for the implants and pontics. The implant prosthesis will support and fill in these contours for an natural emergence profile.

Taking the time to do things the right way!! Creating the ideal emergence profile is critical not only for implants but also the pontic areas. Sculpting the soft tissue with well contoured provisionals will allow for a more natural look and feel for the prosthesis. Thank you to Dr. Alex Schrott for the excellent surgical and grafting procedures for our patient.
