Hey Sunset Beach! If you’ve been around awhile then I am sure you know her but those of yall that haven’t had the pleasure - MEET DAPHNE!!!!

Daphne has been a RDH 🦷 since 1985!!! 🤩 Her goal is to make her patients feel comfortable and at ease as she helps take care of their dental needs (and she does!!) She isnfrom Raleigh and moved to the Sunset Beach area in 2013! 🏖️ She with husband, Don, have a blended family with a daughter, two sons and four grandchildren. She enjoys beach music and all the outdoor concerts during the summer!! Long walks and watching sunrises and sunsets are a true joy ☀️ She loves her beach time, but Christmas is her favorite time of the yea! Daphne is an absolute joy and we were so lucky to get her in the acquisition from Dr. Rakos! She has been a true asset to the team, and we are so thankful!

Please join us in giving the warmest welcome to our newest provider, Dr. Malit! 🦷💙

Dr. Malit believes dentistry is a beautiful blend of science, artistry, and compassionate patient care — and we already know our patients are going to love her!

Her journey in dentistry began long before dental school. After earning her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from NC State and her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from UNC Chapel Hill, she spent six years working as a dental hygienist. That hands-on experience shaped her gentle, patient-centered approach and passion for preventive care before she went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern University in Arizona.

Outside the office, Dr. Malit loves coastal living and enjoys reading, dancing, being outdoors, and spending time with her husband, baby girl, and two dogs. ☀️🌊🐾

Most importantly, Dr. Malit understands that dental visits can sometimes feel overwhelming, and she strives to make every patient feel comfortable, supported, and cared for from the moment they walk through our doors.

We are SO excited for the Leland community to meet her and are thrilled to officially welcome Dr. Malit to the Live Oak Dental family! 🎉

Meet Jen!!!! Jen is our Dental Assistant to Dr. Marone in Sunset Beach 🤩

Jen has been a dental assistant for 31 years. She moved here back in 2023 from California where she lived for 20 years, originally from New York! She loves spending her time off at the beach, hiking or shopping, with her husband and dog! We are so thankful for all the hard work Jen does and thankful for her helping us seamlessly transition Dr. Rakos patients to ours. They always appreciate seeing her familiar and friendly face there!
