Today is International Day of Charity, and at Pike Creek Dental, giving back is part of who we are.

Every month, our team participates in a different community initiative through Freedom Dental Health, collecting items that help people throughout Delaware.

Sometimes it is something small. A pair of socks. A hygiene item. A bra. A snack. But when an entire team and community come together, those small things become something much bigger.

Through partnerships with organizations like Phoenix Family Resource Center, the items collected in our offices reach families, individuals, veterans, and neighbors who may need a little extra support.

This month, we are collecting for Stockings for Soldiers, helping send practical items, comforts from home, and a reminder to our service members that the people back home are thinking about them. 🇺🇸

Because charity is not always about doing something enormous.

Sometimes it is simply seeing a need and deciding, “I can help with that.”

At Pike Creek Dental, there truly are A Million Reasons to Smile, and giving someone else a reason is one of our favorites. 💚

September is Gum Health Month! 💚🦷

We talk a lot about teeth, but healthy gums are just as important to a healthy smile.

Your gums are the foundation holding everything together, and when they are healthy, they help support strong teeth, fresh breath, and a healthier mouth overall.

A few simple habits can make a big difference:

Brush twice a day
Floss every day
Keep up with your regular cleanings
Pay attention to bleeding, swelling, tenderness, or changes in your gums
Don’t ignore the little signs your mouth may be giving you

At Pike Creek Dental, we believe prevention is always easier than playing catch-up later.

So this month, give your gums a little extra love. Your smile will thank you. 💚

MORE THAN A SHIRT

Every shirt has a message.

This September, ours says that mental health matters. Su***de prevention matters. People matter.

Over the past year, our Pike Creek Dental team had the privilege of learning from Angela at Sean’s House about anxiety, safe spaces, communication, and what it means to really be there for someone.

So when you see our team wearing these shirts, know what they represent.

They represent conversations that need to happen.

They represent checking on the coworker who seems a little quieter than usual.

They represent giving someone room to say they aren’t okay.

They represent reminding people that asking for help is okay.

And they represent knowing where to turn when help is needed.

Today we’re celebrating the beards, mustaches, scruff, and every fabulous bit of facial hair in between.

A great beard may frame the face, but we’re still going to notice that smile first. 😁

Back to school means back to routines… including those smiles! ✏️😁🦷

Lunches are packed, alarms are set, backpacks are by the door, and somehow everyone is already looking for a missing shoe. 😂

As the new school year gets rolling, Pike Creek Dental is sending lots of love to all of our students, teachers, parents, and school staff heading back into busy schedules.

A few easy reminders for the school-year shuffle:
