April is oral cancer awareness month.
The biggest risk factors include alcohol, to***co, and the HPV virus! Be on the lookout for red/white patches, sores that don't heal and persistent lumps.
Make sure you have an oral cancer screening by your dentist! 🦷🦷

Happy to say I got my teeth cleaned today by Kim, my former hygienist employee and of course, friend. We worked together for many years in Wilmington. Always great to catch up! She's one of the best! 🦷
And typically you get up out of the chair, and your hair is a mess!!! Lol!!! 🦷

It's always nice to run into patients and have a great conversation and a hug. It was nice to see my former patient Eileen on Friday. It was nice to hear I was missed. God knows, I miss my patients and career. ❤️
