Hola amigos… Pedro here 🇲🇽🐾

Now before anyone hands me a tiny sombrero and a taco (which… I will accept), let’s clear something up real quick.

Cinco de Mayo is NOT Mexican Independence Day. I know… I was shocked too. I almost had to revoke a few human privileges around here.

What it really celebrates is the Battle of Puebla in 1862, when a smaller, scrappier Mexican army pulled off a big-time upset against the French. Underdog story. Heart. Grit. Basically… me at the dog park.

As a proud Chihuahua (small body, big attitude), this one hits close to home. It’s about resilience. Standing your ground. And maybe barking a little louder than your size suggests.

So today, we celebrate Mexican heritage, culture, and that never-back-down spirit.

Also… snacks. Definitely snacks.

Well hello there, friends…

Honey here. Keeper of the couch. Protector of the snacks. And, as it turns out… guardian of the galaxy.

Today feels a little different. The air is calm, the stars are aligned, and Pedro hasn’t knocked anything over in at least five minutes—which tells me something important is happening.

I’ve been doing some reflecting (I do most of my best thinking while staring out the window), and I’ve come to realize that every home—every family—has its own kind of force. It’s in the way you show up for each other. The way you stay loyal. The way you know, without being told, when someone needs you close.

That’s the good stuff.

Pedro likes to think he’s the pilot of this operation… but between you and me, I’m the one keeping things balanced around here. He brings the energy, I bring the wisdom. It works.

So today, whether you’re leading the pack or just trying not to trip over your own paws, remember this:

Stay loyal. Stay kind. And trust that the force—whatever that means to you—is right there with you.

Alright everybody, settle down… Pedro here 🇺🇸🐾

Yes, that Pedro. The one in the tux. The one who clearly understood this was a formal event while others (naming no names… Honey) went full garden party.

Your Majesty, King Charles—welcome to America for the big 250 🇺🇸

I’ve taken it upon myself to handle official hosting duties. Think of me as Head of Security, Director of Treat Acquisition, and Lead Diplomat for Belly Rub Affairs. It’s a big role, but I’m built for pressure.

Couple quick notes to help you adjust:
• If you sit down, you will be sat on
• If you have snacks, they are now our snacks
• If you throw something, I will retrieve it… eventually… on my terms

I’ve also been working on my royal stare. It’s strong. Unshakable. Slightly dramatic. Honestly, I think we’re gonna get along just fine.

Welcome to the colonies, sir. We’ve got freedom, fenced-in backyards, and zero respect for personal space.

Well y’all… I never thought I’d see the day, but here we are 🇺🇸👑

On behalf of myself (Honey, obviously the classy one) and my little brother Pedro—who insisted on wearing a tux like he’s got important business—we’d like to officially welcome King Charles to America for our 250th anniversary.

Now don’t worry sir, we’ve come a long way since that whole “1776 situation.” Water under the bridge. We’ve upgraded to belly rub diplomacy and treat-based negotiations.

Pedro’s been practicing his royal posture all week… still working on not blinking first. I, however, chose something a little more fitting—a proper dress for the occasion. Because if we’re hosting royalty, someone around here has to bring the elegance.

We’ve got gardens, sunshine, and just enough chaos to keep things interesting. You’re gonna fit right in.

Mom, I don’t want to make a big deal out of this, but I look incredible.

Like… “high-stakes, martini-on-the-table, probably-own-the-casino” incredible.

This tux? Perfect fit. Zero notes. I feel like I should be negotiating deals, not begging for treats (but don’t worry, I will still be doing that).

I appreciate you seeing my potential. Some people see a small dog… you saw a distinguished professional with a very important evening ahead of him.

Also, just to be clear—now that I’m dressed like this, I expect:
• upgraded snacks
• at least one fancy nickname
• and absolutely no discussion of the time I barked at the vacuum

Thank you for always having my back… and my wardrobe.
