We may be tucked away in Gilbert, West Virginia, a diamond in the rough, but what we are building here is something special.

These services are happening right now. We are providing primary care, women’s health services, counseling, psychiatric care and medical assisted treatment, all with one goal: caring for the whole person.

Our patients are not given a treatment plan and left to navigate the rest alone. We walk beside them. We care for their physical health, behavioral health, recovery, and the barriers that can make moving forward difficult.

We don’t just treat patients. We stay with them. We are here, and we want our community to know they are never alone.

We are honored to congratulate our teammate, Stephanie Hatfield, on this well-deserved recognition of her hard work and unwavering dedication to serving our rural communities. Stephanie's commitment to bringing greater awareness to a faith-based approach to compassionate, high-quality care reflects the values we strive to uphold every day. We are incredibly proud of her and grateful for the positive impact she continues to make on the lives of those we serve. Congratulations, Stephanie!

The mission of Regional Church of God is being extended beyond its walls and into the broader Mingo County community through the work of Stephanie Hatfield, who participated in our Faith Community Nurse training.

Hatfield, a nurse of 26 years, has been serving as a faith community nurse for almost two years. In addition to her FCN role, Hatfield works as a quality director, risk manager, and PRN nurse at a long-term care facility.

She works closely with individuals experiencing homelessness and those struggling with addiction, helping connect them to meals, housing, rehabilitation services, medical providers, specialists, and other necessary resources based on their unique circumstances.
