To our wonderful dental patients, we recently sold the practice to an amazing married couple, Dr Jonathon Thomson and Dr Jenna Gazzola. Dr Jon is originally from Yakima, WA and Dr Jenna is originally from Queens, NY. They met in Glendale at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine. Up until now they have been practicing dentistry in New Jersey but are excited to be back in Maricopa county soaking up the sun with their two dogs, Brody and Annie.
Selling the office was a big decision for us, but Olivia and I were picky with who we sold to and have realized this is what would be best for our patients as you have all become part of our family over the years.
Olivia and I know that our patients will be in good hands and we are looking forward to working with them. I will continue to practice at J&J Smiles on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and look forward to seeing you all on those days!
Moving forward we will no longer be posting updates on this fb page but on the new practice fb page- J&J Smiles. I have attached a link below! Please like and share as we would love to continue to serve you, your families and the dental community of wickenburg! On behalf of all of our staff, we welcome Dr Jenna and Dr Jon! J&J Smiles

It's that time of year where for many of us the temperature is beginning to rise. This change amplifies the need for hydration. This graphic comes from Dr Krista Austin and her presentation to our coaching course.

While I've heard this on different occasions, I sat down last night and put some reality to the numbers.

I NEED more fluid intake!!

For me it's not hard to loose 4 pounds during a one hour workout. So a little math......

At 170 pounds that's 85 ounces plus a one hour workout would be an additional 80 ounces. 165 ounces as probably the low end of the scale. That's over eight 20 ounce bottles!

I will definitely be tracking this for awhile to see how well I do. What's your intake goal?

PS, don't forget about the electrolyte component.
