Rockwood Dental Center is growing, and we’re excited to expand our administrative team! We’re looking for a Restorative Coordinator to join our team and help us continue providing an excellent experience for our patients.
We’re looking for someone who is personable, organized, has great communication and customer service skills, and is comfortable working with computers. Dental experience is preferred, but not required — we’re happy to train the right person!
📅 Monday–Thursday | 7:45 AM–5:00 PM | 1 hour lunch break
➕ Occasional Friday mornings for staff meetings

Before we were Rockwood Dental Center, our building had a bit of a dental “duplex” situation. 😂

Back in the 1996, the building was designed with two dental offices under one roof. On one side was Mason and Mason Dentistry, and on the other was Dr. Armstrong.

And the building? It was already called Rockwood Dental Center! In fact, the Rockwood name was already proudly displayed on the property — including the driveway signs — multiple times. Talk about a name that was hard to miss! 👀

Then, over the years, things changed. The “Mason & Mason” days eventually became a little confusing because, well… there haven't been two Masons practicing here for many, many years.

So when it was time for a name change, we thought:

Why reinvent the wheel?
The building already had a name.
It already had history.
And honestly… it was a pretty good name! 😉

So we brought Rockwood Dental Center back to the forefront.

And there’s even a little geography behind it! We’re tucked right between Rock Road and Woodlawn — so “Rockwood” is basically hiding in plain sight. 🪨🌳

Our building, our neighborhood, and our practice have all been part of this area for decades. The sign may look a little different these days, but the story didn’t start with the new sign.

In fact, you could say we didn't really change our name…

We just brought back the name that was already here! ❤️
