📞 ’Hello? The 1980’s calling!’ 😆

Looking at this photo is such a fun reminder of the history behind our office. What started with one generation of Scheers grew into a practice that has cared for Wichita families for decades.

A lot has changed since this photo was taken—including the sweaters 😂—but one thing hasn’t: the importance of taking good care of our patients.

We’re grateful for everyone who has trusted us over the many years. We wouldn’t be here without you!

If you have a fun memory w Dr. Harold or Dr. Brick, share below!

Why is it important to have 2 dental cleanings a year?

🦷 Lowers risk of cavities and gum disease

🦷 Early detection of oral cancer and other conditions

🦷 Reduces need for extensive dental treatments

🦷 Long-term savings on dental costs

It’s best to schedule your next cleaning at the end of your appointment. Our awesome hygienists will help you with this! 📆 ✏️

Over the weekend the Scheer family came together for a ‘small’ family reunion. 😆 The first one since the passing of Dr. Harold and Ruth Scheer. Can you spot Dr. Brick in the crowd?!

🦷❤️ Did you know that taking care of your teeth is also taking care of your heart?

Research shows a strong link between gum disease and heart disease. When harmful bacteria builds up in your mouth, it can enter your bloodstream and trigger inflammation — a key driver of cardiovascular problems.
The good news? Your daily oral hygiene routine is doing double duty. Brushing, flossing, and regular dental check-ups don’t just protect your smile — they may help protect your heart too!

So the next time you pick up that toothbrush, remember: you’re not just fighting cavities. You’re showing your heart some love. 💙
