Meet Alex 😜

You’ll usually find her helping patients at the front desk, assisting in the back, or somehow managing to do both at once.

She helps keep the office running smoothly — and keeps everyone laughing along the way.

We’re grateful to have her as part of the Bailey Family Dental team.

A cracked tooth is not always obvious.

Sometimes the clues are subtle — pain when biting, cold sensitivity, or discomfort that comes and goes.

If something feels different, or if the same tooth keeps bothering you on and off, it is worth mentioning at your next dental visit.

The best way to save money at the dentist?

Floss like you actually mean it 😄

Small habits make a big difference. Flossing, regular cleanings, and catching problems early can help prevent bigger dental surprises later.

Gum recession can happen slowly, and it does not always mean something serious.

For some people, a small amount of recession can be common over time. Other times, it may be related to brushing habits, clenching or grinding, gum inflammation, or the position of the teeth.

If you notice your gums changing, or if an area starts feeling sensitive, it is worth bringing up at your next dental visit.

Even mixing dental materials gets the “serious business” treatment around here 😂

We like to keep things light at Bailey Family Dental, but the little details still matter. Every step is done with care, focus, and precision — even the ones that look simple.

A relaxed office can still be a very detail-oriented one.

Do cavities always hurt?

Not always. Some cavities can grow quietly without causing much discomfort at first.

Pain usually starts when decay gets deeper or closer to the nerve. That’s why regular checkups and X-rays can be helpful — they allow us to catch problems before they become more painful or more complicated.

If something feels different, sensitive, or uncomfortable, it’s worth having it checked.

Doctor: taking a quick break 😴

Jaw clicking can feel strange, but it’s not always something serious.

Sometimes it’s related to how the jaw joint moves, especially with tension, clenching, grinding, or subtle bite changes over time.

If there’s no pain and you can open and chew normally, it may simply be something to monitor.

But if the clicking changes, becomes uncomfortable, or starts affecting how you open or chew, it’s worth having it evaluated.
