We’d like to extend a welcome to our newest Dental Extern, Graycen! Graycen is looking forward to spending the next 8 weeks with, gaining real-world experience helping neighbors with their dental care needs here in the Upper Valley region. She is a lover of many things – exploring, new foods, her mini dachshund, Cashew, (swipe for a picture)! Graycen’s time with the clinic will allow her to continue her passion of helping others with their oral health education and confidence. Make sure you welcome her if you see her out and about!

When we receive homegrown goodies to give to our patients, it is always a reason to celebrate 🎉

Today, the organization received fresh eggs and bok choy, donated by a local community member. This sort of kindness ensures that there isn't worry after patients leave their medical, mental health, or dental appointments - our patients can leave with food resources before connecting with other organizations like Upper Valley Haven, LISTEN Community Services, and Friends of Mascoma Foundation (to name a few)! We are so grateful for this donation 🥬🥚❤

The 2026 Neighbor of Hope Award goes to......
🎉🎉Dr. John Sanders 🎉🎉

Each year, the organization nominates a volunteer for the Neighbor of Hope Award, an award based on volunteers excelling at displaying 4 main qualities: their ability to establish meaningful relationships with their patients, their compassion, their kindness, and their attitude for serving others.

Dr. Sanders has been a weekly volunteer with the Good Neighbor Health Clinic for years, having a direct role in patient care and educating the next generation of medical providers. He was nominated for this year's award because he meets and exceeds these four qualities to ensure patients consistently have their care needs met. Outside of patient care and mentorship opportunities, Dr. Sanders is even willing to volunteer his time for photo opportunities ((you can find him on front page of our website!)) Thank you for all that you do, Dr. Sanders!!
