We are a healthcare facility providing free health & dental care to adults in need living within 30 miles of our clinic.

Our teams strive to make sure our neighbors in need have access (and knowledge) to get what they need here in the Upper Valley, which is why our tables are stocked with brochures, patient applications, Narcan, and more! Good Neighbor Health Clinic's Patient Care Coordinator, Brianna, recently obtained her certification for becoming a Clinical Medical Assistant! With this additional credential, our medical team is at full clinical capacity - each team member is able to give vaccinations, complete lab work, and provide clinical care‼

"I'm very happy to finally be MA certified!", Brianna shared, "it's something that I've been wanting to do for a while now, so when the opportunity was presented to me here at GNHC, I knew I wanted to take the course! The overdose epidemic continues to touch every corner of our community. Behind each and every statistic remains a person, a family, and a story. While there has been progress in expanding access to treatment and harm reduction services, far too many lives continue to be lost. On Monday, August 31st at 5:30PM at Lyman Point Park (167 Maple Street) in White River Junction, the 11th Overdose Awareness Candlelight Vigil and Memorial Reading of Names will occur reminding us that recovery is possible; stigma has no place in healthcare or our communities, and that every person deserves compassion, dignity, and access to support.

Whether through treatment, recovery support, harm reduction, healthcare, housing, peer services, prevention, or advocacy, there is work being done everyday by organizations throughout the Upper Valley. This event is an opportunity to remember loved ones and learn about support that exists right here at home. Because neighbors are here to help neighbors.

Windsor Vermont’s 5th Annual Overdose Awareness Day is occurring on Monday, August 31st at The Windsor Common on State Street (if there is rain, the event will be held at the Windsor Legion Upper Ballroom at 4 Court Street)! There will be a candlelight vigil to honor loved ones and opportunities to learn more about resources in the community available to help. If you are a first responder, health care professional, family member or friend supporting someone who is struggling with substance use, in recovery, or are interested in learning how to save a life through the use of Narcan, this event is for you! Make sure to spread the word!

You may notice that our hours this week are a little different! Please note, the medical clinic will remain open for appointments during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:30AM to 4:30PM) but the dental clinic will be closed from August 3rd to August 10th. The dental clinic will re-open for appointments on Tuesday, August 11th. We appreciate your understanding! 🍎
