⏳ Typically, the numbness wears off in 2 to 5 hours after leaving our office. This is totally normal and means the medicine did its job!
Parent tips for the "Numb" phase:
1️⃣ Watch out for biting: The biggest risk is accidental lip or cheek biting because the area feels "funny" or heavy. 👄
2️⃣ Soft foods only: Stick to cold liquids, smoothies, or yogurt until the feeling returns completely. 🍦
Important: While rare, if numbness persists for more than 24 hours, please give us a call immediately!!
