Dental Designs of Maryland - White Marsh, MD

The premier family, implant & facial aesthetics dental practice serving the Perry Hall, White Marsh, and beyond! Sounds simple right?

Dental Designs of White Marsh was conceived to give the community a brand new dental experience through the simple notion of treating people the way we would want to be treated. We believe that patient education is the keystone to all aspects of the dental experience, and we don’t believe rushing people in and out with a treatment plan and a price tag is the right thing to do. From providing our patients a variety of amenities to make their visit more pleasant, to being dedicated to spending time with every patient to explore their options and analyze their wants and needs, we hope to nurture a compassionate and trusting environment for each and every person that steps in our door. Just like no two people are alike, no two dental treatments are alike either. Your opinion and ideas are a valued and important part of our practice, and we want to thank you and your family for making Dental Designs of White Marsh your dental home.

POV: It’s Pinktober Wednesday and someone missed the memo. 💗👀

Doc, respectfully… **you can’t sit with us.** 🎀😂

We wear pink for the cause, for the survivors, for the fighters, and for everyone we hold close. Early detection matters, and so does showing up for one another. 💗

What happens in Vegas… makes the birthday post 🎂!

Happy Birthday to our root canal and extraction king 👑🦷. When he’s not keeping smiles in check at DDMD, he’s repping the Ravens, making memories with his wife and twins, or taking his annual Vegas takeover 💜.

Full-time doc, five minutes from the office, and always the guy you want in your corner when a tooth gets complicated. Consider him booked, busy & unbothered. 😎

Wishing Dr. Levine another year of big wins, good health, and main-character energy. 🎲✨

It’s Dr. Metzger’s day. Say less. ⛳️🎂

The periodontist, the dad of two, the golf-obsessed legend. 🏌️‍♂️🦷

From perfecting smiles at DDMD to chasing birdies on the green, Dr. Metzger stays on his game. And even when he’s back in class at UMSOD, home to the oldest dental school in the world, he’s always leveling up. 🎓✨

Wishing you a year full of birdies, good vibes, and plenty of reasons to celebrate! 🥂🖤

Happy Birthday, Dr. Metzger! ⛳️🎉

🎀 PINKTOBER, BUT MAKE IT PERSONAL 🎀

Today is our first Breast Cancer Wednesday, and we’re wearing pink because awareness is more than a color. It’s about the people we love, the people we’ve lost, the people still fighting, and the people who will need support someday.

And because we’re in the business of taking care of people, we know that health doesn’t stop at the smile.

Breast cancer treatment can have a real impact on oral health. From dry mouth and mouth sores to changes in gum health and an increased risk of cavities. Your dental team belongs in the conversation, too. 🩷

Now let’s turn likes into something that actually matters.

For every like + share our posts receive this month, DDMD will match it AND double our donation to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

So go ahead. Tap the heart. Share it to your story. Send it to your group chat.

A little pink. A lot of impact. 🎀

Here’s to awareness, early detection, better care, and showing up for each other.

🍂 A little something new to fall for 🍂

Meet Dr. David Saakov! Our newest dentist and, based on the fact that he can read 20 books in a weekend, possibly the most committed overachiever we’ve ever seen. 📚

When he’s not taking care of patients, you’ll probably find him:

✈️ Somewhere new
🎲 Deep into a board game
🧙‍♂️ In Middle-earth, probably
🍜 Finding his next favorite restaurant

Born in Kansas, raised in Maryland, Temple-trained and back home where he belongs, Dr. Saakov brings a genuinely thoughtful approach to dentistry: listen first, get to know your people, and treat them like family.

With Dr. Weng stepping away from clinical dentistry and into his new role as *the man behind the curtain keeping everything running*, we’re pretty excited about this next chapter.

So, consider this your official introduction to Dr. Saakov! We have a feeling you’re going to FALL for him, too 🤍🍁.

Happy birthday to our incredible general manager, Rachel 🤍

The glue that holds DDMD together, and somehow makes it look easy! She’s the person everyone turns to, the calm behind a thousand moving parts, and the one who quietly takes care of everyone without ever asking for credit.

But to us, she’s so much more. She’s the heart, the confidant, the friend, and the person who is always there when you need her most. When she’s not taking care of everyone else, she’s happiest with her daughter and family, a good book, a cup of tea, Harry Potter, or cheering on Baltimore sports. 🫖📚💜

Rachel, we are so lucky to love you, work alongside you, and call you ours. You mean more to this team than you probably realize.

Happy birthday, Rach. 🤍 We love you!

Our new White Marsh flagship is officially underway! With more space, room to grow, and a more elevated, wellness-forward experience. These renderings are just the beginning.

We’re currently expecting to open our doors March 2027.

Thank you for your patience as we navigate the move over the next few months. Our schedule will be a little in flux while we make it happen, and we’ll reach out directly to any patients whose appointments are affected. We’ll keep you posted every step of the way.

White Marsh’s time. ✨
The next chapter is 'under construction' 😉.

(Note: Hoping the L*dons and other patients caught that pun)

Dr. Weng may no longer be seeing patients chairside, but his impact on our practice continues far beyond the operatory!

Recently, he was invited on a panel of doctors to share his experience, perspective, and leadership with other dental field professionals.

His involvement is a reflection of something we’ve always valued: continuing to learn, share knowledge, and bring back thoughtful leadership.

Dr. Weng's role may have evolved, but his influence hasn’t. He plays an important role in shaping our team, supporting our doctors, and helping us continually raise the standard of care we provide to our patients 💪.

We’re proud to have that experience behind our practice 🦷.

🇵🇱 Sunday Funday, Polish edition. 🇵🇱

We took DDMD to Baltimore’s Polish Festival with our very own Dr. Roman, who apparently decided it was time for us to fully embrace the culture. 😂

There was stuffed cabbage, kielbasa, a John Paul II cake, Żubrówka 🥃… and enough Polish food to make us question every life choice we’ve ever made.

Let’s just say Dr. Santos polished her Polish dance skills… emphasis on polished. 😏

A little culture, a lot of food, the best patients, and the best kind of Sunday Funday. 🇵🇱❤️

Na zdrowie! 🥂
