Funds raised by PTACF support targeted pediatric cancer research programs locally in Minnesota and around the world.

Next on our list for our Lakeshore Pet Feature:
Meet Winny, Dr. Jacobson's German Shepard, Belgian Malinois mix!
Winny is 5 years old, that's about 45 in dog years for her breed.

This is a picture of Winny and Dr. Jacobson Skijoring, which is kind of like dogsledding with skis.

Dr. Jacobson: "She's a pretty smart girl. She knows: hike/mush, slow/whoa, lets go! (faster!), stop, "Right/ gee", haw meaning left. She loves pulling and going fast. She's pretty compliant and we've only had a couple of wipeouts! None of them were her fault though!"

She will reluctantly wear booties and a jacket when it's really cold. She just had her teeth cleaned at the vet too!

Even though dogs or other pets aren't allowed in the office, pets are an important part of our lives! There are a few we'd like you to meet:

Meet Henry, Dr. Ross's Golden Retriever!

Henry is 3 years old, that's about 32 in dog years.

He was rescued from a puppy mill in Missouri by Retrieve a Golden of the Midwest (RAGOM) a premier golden retriever rescue organization and adopted by Dr. Ross and Family.

He loves adventure walks, treats and snuggling with his family.

When asked about Henry's dental hygiene, Dr. Ross Responded "He likes to floss with rope toys and he lets me clean his teeth😊"
