Good news-we now offer Curodont at our office! So what is it? Curodont is a peptide that helps to restore small areas of weakness in the enamel when there is an early stage cavity, preventng it from getting bigger!

Why is this useful? Cavities get filled, and over time depending on home care and habits ocassionally they need to be replaced with new fillings or crowns. Each time you drill and fill a tooth, more health tooth structure is disrupted. This prolongs the filling from happening in the first place!

If you have any questions- place them in the comments below, send us a text 781 335 4900, or ask at your next visit!

What the patient sees 👀 vs what the dentist sees 😄

Don't worry — no hardware-store tools in our office! Just gentle, precise instruments (and a team that will explain every one of them).

Which tray are YOU seeing? 🔨 or 🪞

Your mind and your smile are connected. 💚

Did you know? It takes more muscles to frown than to smile — so choose the easier one.

On World Mental Health Day, remember: be kind to yourself, take a breath, and don't forget to smile — it's good for you.

If stress has you clenching or grinding your teeth, we're here to help. 781-335-4900

Yesterday we showed you our panoramic X-ray — today, what ELSE can it do? 👀

This one machine helps us with:
🦷 3D CBCT imaging — teeth, bone and nerves in three dimensions
🦷 Wisdom teeth — spotting impactions before they cause trouble
🦷 Implants — planning precise, confident placement
🦷 Jaw growth, TMJ, and so much more

One quick, painless spin — so much information.

Ask us about 3D imaging at your next visit! 781-335-4900

Behind the scenes 👀 What do you think this machine does?

It's our panoramic X-ray (panorex)! We always try traditional bitewing X-rays first — those close-ups of just the biting surfaces of the back teeth, our best way to check for cavities.

But little mouths don't always cooperate 😅 Swipe to see this little one's traditional bitewings — her mouth was still too small. So the panorex captured her bitewing views instead, in one quick, painless spin.

A big help for little ones (and adults!) who need a little extra patience and accommodation.

Has your little one had X-rays taken?

Stay tuned for tomorrow's post to see what else this machine can do! 👀
