What an AMAZING day it was today at the Keane Foundation Golf Tournament ⛳️!
The Richard M. Keane Foundation was established in 2001, shortly after the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center. Dr. Dolan’s uncle-Richard M. Keane lost his life that day.
The Keane Foundation was founded in honor of Richard M. Keane and funds raised support the after-school enrichment programs at Wethersfield’s five elementary schools, as well as in-school hands-on science programs. UNICO uses its share to provide book scholarships for graduating high school students heading to college, and contributes to cancer research and other nonprofits in Rocky Hill and Wethersfield.

🌟 Last night, we celebrated the 2026 Graduation Ceremony of the Health Career Opportunities Program (HCOP) at UConn and what a night it was!

These incredible students are heading to colleges across the country to chase their dreams in medicine, dentistry, research, and beyond. We couldn't be more proud. 💙

Through the ACTS mentoring program at UConn's Student Doctors Academy, we connect underrepresented high school students with doctors, dentists, and researchers giving them a window into the world of healthcare careers.

A huge thank you to Dr. Marja Hurley and Dr. Kerry-Ann Stewart for their incredible leadership of HCOP, and to every mentor who showed up for these students this year. 🙏

Last night, we celebrated the 2026 Graduation Ceremony of the Health Career Opportunities Program (HCOP) at UConn and what a night it was! 🎊
